AUI is committed to the communities where our team members live and work, as well as the larger construction industry community.

We contribute millions of payroll dollars annually to the north Texas economy; we participate in college and university recruiting fairs in Texas and Oklahoma on a regular basis; and we enter (and win) many awards programs sponsored by associations, clients and suppliers. Recent awards we have received are the ABC Excellence in Construction Award, the AIA Quality in Construction Award, and the Quoin (Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of AGC) Summit Award.

Additionally, every year we participate in multiple charity golf tournaments, as well as hosting our own "Spring Fling Golf Classic" charity golf tournament to benefit the local charities, such as Megan's Crossing, Rocky Top Therapy Center, Special Olympics, and the Make a Wish Foundation.

AUI is a major advocate for the construction industry in north Texas and throughout the United States. We are active members in several organizations, including the following:
