AUI Contractors, Inc., was founded in Fort Worth in 1983 as Architectural Utilities, Inc. In 1998, the company changed its name to AUI Contractors in order to represent their expanding capabilities.

AUI is a full-service general contractor and is fully bonded and insured. We acquired Pyramid Building Systems in 2004 to expand our design/build capabilities and to serve our commercial and industrial clients more effectively. With typical sales revenues that average $90 million, AUI is one of a few contractors in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with the ability to complete multi-million dollar projects in both commercial and civil divisions. We have executed projects using several delivery methods, including hard-bid, design-build, and construction management at-risk.

AUI self-performs site work, site utility work, and structural and architectural concrete work in both commercial and civil divisions.
